Visula ("we," "our," or "the App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how your personal information is collected, used, and disclosed by Visula when you use our mobile application and services via https://visulaai.framer.website.

1. Information We Collect

1.1. Information You Provide

  • User Content (Temporary): We collect the photos, videos, and text prompts you upload to the App solely for the purpose of immediate AI processing.

  • Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address, username, or Apple ID identifiers (via Sign in with Apple) to manage your credits and authentication.

1.2. Automatically Collected Information

  • Usage Data: We track your interactions with the App, such as the number of AI generations, template usage, and credit balance changes.

  • Device Information: We may collect information about your mobile device, including device model, operating system version (iOS), and unique device identifiers.

1.3. Payment Information

  • All in-app purchases are processed by Apple via the App Store. We do not store your financial details. Transaction history is managed through RevenueCat to validate your purchases and credit balance.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected data for the following purposes:

  • Service Provision: To process your photos and videos using Artificial Intelligence models to generate the requested content.

  • Credit System Management: To track your credit usage based on the computational cost of the AI models.

  • Temporary Processing: Your data is processed transiently and is not used for any other purpose than generating your requested output.

3. Third-Party Service Providers

To provide our services, we share data with trusted third-party providers.

  • Replicate (AI Processing): Your uploaded photos, videos, and prompts are sent to Replicate's API to run AI models.

    • By using Visula, you explicitly agree to Replicate's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

    • Replicate processes this data to generate content. According to Replicate's policies, generated outputs are retained on their servers for a limited time (typically 1 hour) before being deleted.

  • Supabase (Backend): We use Supabase for authentication and temporary data handling.

  • RevenueCat (Purchases): We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status and in-app purchases.

4. Data Retention and Deletion (Strict Policy)

We prioritize data minimization. Our retention policies are as follows:

  • Uploaded Images/Videos: Source files uploaded by users to our servers (Supabase) are automatically permanently deleted within 48 hours after upload. We do not store your source media indefinitely.

  • AI Generated Outputs: Visula does not archive or store the AI-generated outputs on our own persistent servers.

    • Generated content is hosted temporarily by Replicate and is deleted from their system within 1 hour.

    • Users are responsible for downloading or saving their generated content immediately. Once deleted from the provider's temporary storage, the content cannot be recovered.

  • Account Data: We retain basic account information (email, credit balance) as long as your account is active to provide the service.

5. Face Data Policy (Collection, Use, and Retention)

Collection: We collect images containing facial features only when you voluntarily upload an image or take a photo within the App to use our AI generation features.

Use: The face data is used exclusively to generate personalized AI videos and photos. We map the facial features from your uploaded photo onto the AI models via Replicate to create the requested content. We do not use your face data for authentication, marketing, advertising, or user identification purposes.

Sharing: To generate the AI content, your uploaded images are securely transmitted via API to our third-party AI processing provider, Replicate Inc. We do not share your face data with any other third parties, data brokers, or advertising platforms.

Retention: We apply a strict retention policy for face data:

  • Supabase (Our Storage): Source images uploaded to our servers are automatically and permanently deleted within 48 hours.

  • Replicate (AI Processor): Data processed by Replicate is ephemeral; generated outputs and cached inputs are typically purged from their system within 1 hour.

6. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including using SSL/TLS encryption for data transmission. While we implement strict deletion policies to minimize risk, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

7. Children’s Privacy

Visula is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to request the deletion of your account and associated data at any time. You can delete your account directly within the App settings. Upon deletion, any remaining data (such as email and credit balance) is permanently removed.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
